Because I was lunching alone, I had a grilled artichoke - so very low calorie and I can now eat a proper dinner.

The artichoke didn't really make a dent in my hunger, and now I need to eat so I'm hoping my dinner companion gets here sooner than later or I may have to start eating some Moon Pies.

I've been so E and T for so long that I completely forgot how much I love DR Laura's photos. As I went through each photographic post she posted today I kept thinking, "wow, nice photo, DR Laura" ...

Our new release is really pretty, but I don't know if I can think of one other score that's all based on exactly one theme - well, yes I can - John Williams' The Long Goodbye.  This is better than that with a lot more variety in the treatments of the theme.  But what a theme!

Whatever shall I eat for supper.  Eating the artichoke for lunch was like eating nothing at all, since I'd jogged four miles.  So far I'm minus calories for the day.  So, I could have a nice barbecue chicken sandwich or my scramble that I like so much, or something different for a change.

Or, I could go somewhere different.  That would be a novelty.  But the dining partner, who I was hoping would be here by six, won't be here till six-thirty and by that time everywhere else will be crowded.
