In Canada there were called whippets, The base was a cookie with a marshmallow on top which was covered by chocolate. There was only one way to eat. 1) break the chocolate up and eat it piece by piece 2) then the marshmallow 3) Then the cookie.

It took longer to eat than an "Oreo" which I also enjoyed.

Oreo also had what I called a "decadent" version chocolate covered.

that is a Mallomar!  I just bought a package of them for the Vixter tonight  they are not sold here in the summer months so they have just come "back in season" and were on sale

I do not like store bought cookies very much. Almost the only one I will eat is black forest whippets.  It is similar to the regular whippets but the bottom has a chocolate base and the filling is cherry.  is this not sold in the US?

I have never heard of these  I would have tried one when I was in Canada

I got the old person's pneumonia vaccination today.  They asked if I wanted a flu shot but I turned it town.  I'm only risking one reaction at a time.

We went to Rite-Aid and they had remodeled the store.  It looks great only the chemicals from the work need to air out a bit more.  Between the smoke and the store I wasn't sure I should be getting a vaccination, but I did anyway.  I feel fine.

I got the quad flu shot.  Apparently you can get on against three strains of flu or four strains of flu.  To me that was a no brainer

Today really kicked my butt.  I thought I could do everything on my own, but man today pushed me to the limit.  Anyway, it led me to post an ad to hire an assistant.  We'll see what happens.  I asked  exactly what  I'm looking for in an assistant and I have to believe there is someone out there with those qualifications.

I better get some sleep. I can't believe how crazy things have gotten.  Mondays are always like that, but this one was.....well....I got all the billing done, got a major project in the mail and had a number of things happen I wasn't expecting.  Nothing bad, just chaotic.  Hopefully tomorrow will calm down somewhat.

LOL, no, it was  shot.  Didn't hurt at all and no side effects.  I got it at the grocery store pharmacy
