Thanks.  You can see why he is too big to fit under the seat.  Most Berner puppies can.

My friend had to buy a charger for his phone and finally returned to facebook.  He will be spending the night near the airport.  I hope the airline is paying for his room and dinner.

I like the concept brought up last night (in the conversation by George and TCB) of "fake spoilers"

Good puppy tidings, and a cute photograph.

The American national anthem, from a percussionist's point of view:

Now that's FUNNY!! :))

Watched a movie on the computer - our next release - very rare and completely unknown film, but I had to assign cue titles to the music, so I watched and did so - took over two hours to do, then I watched a bit of an annoying documentary - annoying not because it's not good but annoying because of the world it presents (today) and the way in which women behave in said world.  This is simply not my time, women-wise, I'm afraid, for a whole variety of reasons.

Plenty of mistakes while dancing tonight. But it's getting a little better. The next competition is a week from Saturday.

Singdaw, I think Carol Channing is a great idea for Peter Pan. And too bad Don Knotts is no longer around to play Hook.

Trying to combine work and play -- and it's not working.

I was trying to get together with friends AND have dinner at one of the places taking part in Restaurant Week, but Sunday is the only day I can do dinner and most of the places worth going to are closed on Sunday.

Bummer.

Fourteen pages.  Very happy I did that many and am exhausted and done writing until the notes.

Earlier I got three of those mini cheesecake things from the mini cheesecake place - the three don't even add up to a half slice so that's not so horrible.  For lunch at Vitello's, the place I walked out of the other night, I had a small Caesar (eh) and some penne with a pink sauce - which is alfredo sauce and marinara mixed together - I had them go light on the alfredo and heavier on the marinara, and it wasn't really that big a portion.

I wish I had your discipline, bk. I've started a project, largely in longhand, and I did have managed to get about 14 pages of notes and writing done -- but over about 12 days. OK, so last night I wrote more than three pages, which was the longest sustained writing so far.

But I just wish I had more time and focus.

I don't know what's going on with the internet. I tried to get online with moly laptop and just no luck although I could get my email so that makes no sense maybe it's a Firefox issue I don't know but in any event I decided against throwing the laptop at the wall and just started it running a scan and now I'm on my ipad

I am glad the puppy was found so it was a mistaken transfer rather than a deliberate theft.

Watching the 1940s version of "The Desert Song." It's a really interesting rewrite that transforms the story to World War II times. It feels more vital and urgent, but it also means most of the score has been truncated, cut or turned into underscoring. I like Dennis Morgan in the role of El Kobar much more than the barely moving Gordon MacRae.

Flying this time, not driving.

But I do very much enjoy the ol' I-95 road trip.

You gotta stop at South of the Border!
