Listening to the wonderful piano concerto of Ruth Gipps. I'm now her fan - everything I hear by her is great - if you go to You Tube you can hear a lot of her stuff - very little recorded, most are broadcasts. Getting this CD with the piano concerto was the craziest experience. It arrived a week ago and despite the packaging and label film being correct, the actual music on the CD was some post-modern avant garde crap by someone I've never heard of. Sent back and ordered a copy directly from Amazon rather than a third party seller. That came and same thing. I then wrote the label expressing my dismay - they told me there'd been a bad batch and then offered to send me one for free. I said okay, naturally. Amazon refunded me, but the third party dealer checked their shelves and found a good copy, so they sent it. When the extra gets here I'll offer it to whoever may want it.
