Earlier this afternoon a group of us sprang a surprise Christmas party on a friend who’s stuck in the hospital after skin graft surgery. I think he was touched.
While we were there, a most irreverent nun stopped by to give him communion. Her stories about her ex husband, now a deacon, were priceless.
Here it is. This one isn't blurred, it's just out of focus. The phone either has trouble focusing at these close distances, or you need to try telling it where to focus; i.e., getting the picture framed and tapping the point to focus on (or whatever the process is on your phone), then take the picture. But like I said, it's tricky. I've been through much trial and error on this.Edit: I never know if, or how well, this is going to work on the site, but click to enlarge. This one opens a separate window for me, and it's quite a bit larger. And yet the file is no larger than anything else we post here. Go figure.

I am baking something gingerbread like in the ridiculously expensive pan I bought at the baking store. I think I will take the goodies to the neighbors. After waking at 10 I made breakfast fir vixdad and myself, broiled tomatoes , poached eggs, sausages and toast and a nice hot pot of tea
Today vixdad and I received a very interesting phone all but I am not allowed to say from whom or the subject of the conversation until Tuesday evening or Wednesday
