Well, today's going to be a day. On Sunday, I found out that Bill, a former co-worker, had died on December 12 and the memorial is going to be today. My friend Margo and I are going. She actualy got a call from his sister. I sent an e-mail to all the people in our building (I will admit that not a lot of people who work there now worked there when he did...it's been at least 15 years since he left), but I didn't think to send out a district-wide e-mail. He was the former HR Manager, so some people throughout the library might still remember him. Oh, well. Most people out in the branches probably wouldn't be able to easily get a vacation day the the day before, anyway. $:-\$

I did send FB messages to a few retired co-workers who knew him. The service is in the morning, but I was able to get the whole day off. Not much (or pressing) is happening at work right now.

This has been the worst season for people getting sick. Sometimes repeatedly. I should know.

The great mystery of my life has been solved!

Somebody on FB came up with the title of the movie I asked about here yesterday. In fact, the film is even available on YouTube.

As I suspected, it was a "B" that I'd never heard of and, except for the one scene of the people drowning in a basement, didn't really remember, since I was 3-4 years old when I saw it.

The film is FOG ISLAND with Lionel Atwill, George Zucco and Jerome Cowan. Here's the link:
