Had a really good second rehearsal - made some changes to arrangements and it's all good.

Then I had to get something to eat - a chili, cheese, and onion hot dog, a side Caesar salad, and a few onion rings - all very good.

Now I'm listening to music - the first three Streisand albums - these "restored" and "remastered" CDs are HORRIBLE - they have had the life sucked out of them by amateurs.

There’s a new Peter Pan musical in London? And by the team that wrote the unnecessary songs in the stage version of Mary Poppins?

How many does that make?

Bernstein
Leigh-Charlap-Styne/Comden-Green
Bricusse
These guys

Any more?

If it's THIS ONE (see picture below), it's been around for about 10 years.  I have the CD and like it.  I really like their style.  Is it necessary?  Of course not...unless you're an absolute Peter Pan completeist. ;)

That's the one.

Watched a lesbian ballroom film called Leading Ladies. It had the same problem that the American version of Shall We Dance? had. Why would you do a dance movie in which the people don't dance at the end. They do everything but dance. Ugh.

There was one really good dance scene in it.

Now I'm starting a Francois Ozon flick called In the House about a precocious young prep school student and the teacher who is excited for the first time in ages by a student's talent. Naturally, things won't go well. It is a French film, after all.

Tonight we watched the last two episodes of season one LOST IN SPACE.  While we have a few issues with it we will be watching season two.  Ex kept for one person we like the cast, especially the kids.  The boy who plays Will is excellent.

Well, I must be off.  I was just going to go home, but my sister told me that the Big Tom's Burgers on the eastside of Olympia is having a Pride fundraiser!  They're donating a certain percentage of all their sales today to (I think she said) the Olympia Pride Foundation!  So, I'm off to Big Tom's for some Pride-supporting food! ;D I told my friend Margo about it and she wants me to pick up a burger and a shake for her, too.

Be back later!

Well, the burgers that Margo and I got at Big Tom's were pretty good.  Margo got a Deluxe Cheeseburger and I got a Raptor Burger.

The burger's not on their menu, but they list a Raptor Pizza which has "locally made spicy WOW sauce, ghost pepper cheese, jalapenos, bacon, & sausage."

The Raptor Burger has the same toppings except the bacon and sausage.

I haven't.  I think it was either new or a limited edition.
