Well, it was informative but not really useful, at least for my job. The conference was for the users of the same ILS (integrated library system) in the Pacific Northwest area. There was even some information that was interesting, but it was mostly just them telling us what's supposed to be happening and what's going to be updated within the next couple of years. Again, informative and somewhat interesting, but not useful.

Watching Doris Day, Jack Carson and Eve Arden in My Dream Is Yours. The musical is a piece of nothing with an okay Harry Warren-Ralph Blane score. But it was directed by Michael Curtiz.

The best part of watching any recorded show is, of course, being able to fast-forward through the commercials, but with AGT, even better is fast-forwarding through what I call the "glorification of the judges."

Not that they're not nice people, or enjoyable performers, but it seems like the show almost makes it more about the judges...IMHO ("In My Humble Opinion" in Internet lingo).

Doug and I went to the Coral Cafe after to figure out things and make a road map of who we're thinking of for what, which sometimes involves multiple people.

And then came a marathon of negativity, a phone call of one hour duration that was so annoying on so many levels, but I felt it necessary to be clear about things from my perspective, but I then had to get strong, which I don't love having to do, but I did, and finally the conversation mercifully ended and we'll see where things go from here. If I told you about this drama you would not believe it.
