I think I will write to the Walt Disney Studios and tell them I liked the car in The Misadventures of Merlin Jones.

I got Birdy Barnum another owl to hang on the OTHER side of his cage....to replace the ladybug which was a BIG flop.

The owl is a big success....he is telling it ALL about life and his fortunes....he still enjoys talking to the original owl, but the new one, which is identical has most of his attention today.

Wednesday morning greetings!  We had some snow overnight that's melting now and making a slushy mess.  Richard and I are letting it melt a bit before we head out to do some errands.

Ran my errands and paid a couple of ugly bills.

Next up:  marking up the Dolly! books for tomorrow night's orchestra rehearsal -- where we'll be playing that published overture.

Well, there's about 2 inches of snow.  Time to panic !  It is going to be icy before it turns to rain later today, so I guess that's why the schools and government buildings are closed.    My Buffalo relatives and friends would be amazed at the TV reporting.  It's like we've never had snow before!

Well.....how could I be so remiss in our discussion of sex kittens yesterday as to leave out two of my favorites:

Miss Lee Remick in A FACE IN THE CROWD and ANATOMY OF A MURDER

and

Miss Joey Heatherton in TWILIGHT OF HONOR and WHERE LOVE HAS GONE

Okay, here's a question.

"Put On Your Sunday Clothes"

Swing 8ths, straight 8ths, or both as warranted?

If THAT discussion doesn't get us to at least page fifty-three, I don't know what will.

I got some antibiotics today for a sinus infection. So I'll feel better in a couple of days.

Swing those eighths.

The question mainly applies to the main theme.
Certain hits and later passages are very obviously straight eighth material.

The original run of Dolly up until Pearl Bailey played with no overture - Gower preferred no overture and so do I.
