DR TCB congrats on your mew furniture. I hope you are pleased with it.

That's what it becomes after Nicky gets on it.

Cleaned a little in the garage. Of course, you can't tell anything has been done in there.

Now the trash can and the recycling can are both filled. Recycling pickup is tomorrow or Tuesday, if they don't come on the holiday. But trash pickup isn't due until Thursday.

Jane, the next time there's a change on my Wikipedia page.  There's no one else who can be doing this.  The latest gambit was adding to the author section the addition "self published through Author House" which is, of course, meant to lessen the accomplishment - I removed it because who gives a crap - many people have gone that route, especially with that publisher - very big names.  It's that kind of thing.  Another is "he claims to have never missed a day of blogging since November of 2001"  There's no "claims" about it - I haven't.  It's that petty, stupid stuff, which is what the stalker is all about, as you all well know.

I'm up, I'm up - I was up at seven-thirty, didn't get back to sleep until after nine, so again not more than six hours of sleep.

Sunday afternoon greetings!

Today is RACE day.....

It is, indeed, and I was afraid we’d miss the pre-race festivities and the start because Fr. Richard did a solo act at Christ the King in Dayton this morning.  But we heard “Back Home Again in Indiana” on the car radio and were home in time to see the green flag drop.  We even had time to pick up a traditional race day lunch - fried chicken.

I've just made a bunch of adjustments and additions to the Wikipedia page.  Let's see how long they stay there.

After 67 years of making a twin bed everyday, making a KING sized bed everyday is like building a house.

I have a queen sized bed.  I don't really "make" my bed.  I just kind of pull the covers back over everything and call it good. ;)

Watching the first of the films in Shoah: Four Sisters. Devastating. The woman in this film, Ruth Elias, was Czech but she speaks in English. And all Lanzmann really had to do was turn on the camera and let her talk. The stories of going to two camps, the latter of which was Auchswitz, is  horrifying.

AH....I remembered......the sentence is no longer in his bio.....which is a good thing.

I hesitate to mention the name of the band on a wholesome website such as HHW.

You said next time you would report her, vs reporting her now.   I am guessing that next time, when you finally report her, will be very soon.

Well, I just bought a ticket for tonight to see Tacoma Little Theatre's one-hour abridged version of The Pillowman, which is a fund raiser to send the troup to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the American Association of Community Theatre's national finals!

One of the actors is a neighbor, and his wife was in Fun Home that I just saw last night...which reminds me, I saw (former) DR Jed at Fun Home last night.  He said that Ann stayed home with the kids.  We couldn't chat for very long.  I had to get back to ushering.  But he'd heard that that was a great show and didn't want to miss it.

But first, I'm off to my parents' house for a bit, then I'll leave for Tacoma from there.

Be back later...much later!

Wonderful dinner before the show. Oysters, porcini-crusted halibut and asparagus.
