I hope that George is still out on his ushering gig, and not sitting around watching TV.

I had forgotten that Mother Teresa died just a few days after Diana.

There are about three or four versions of this story, and this is not the version I wanted to see again.

Back from a very good show - completely full, added chairs but four people bailed after act one, which was odd but then they were odd (sitting in front of me and the Shermans), and we lost two or three after act two - weird.  But lots of laughs, and even though we re-blocked, Barry ended up doing it the right way and it was great. Lot of interesting folks in the audience tonight.  Richard and Elizabeth loved the show.  They were laughing so hard at Barry that I got worried. :)

Don’t blame me.  I got us off of page three.

We started ten minutes late because they waited for some stragglers (I don't like to wait) and then my little speech takes a couple of minutes.  And both intermissions ran long - I've been very firm about this stuff and will be having a talk with the house staff and stage manager.

I guess there are other reasons for leaving after Act I or II besides not enjoying the show, but I can’t imagine what they would be.

We used to have a critic who lived across Puget Sound on Vashon Island.  Regardless of what was happening on stage at 10:30, she would get up and leave so she could catch the last ferry to the island.

Which made some of her reviews seem a bit strange.

God forbid, if you didn’t come on stage until near the end of a production, because no matter how good your performance might be, you would not get mentioned.

I hope that George is still out on his ushering gig, and not sitting around watching TV.

I just got home, fed my cat, and now I'm watching Saturday Night Live...but I just turned on my TV.
