Back from this ten-hour day. We auditioned one person at noon (the other was a no-show) - I liked him and so did Doug.

We had a completely sold out house and boy were they great and boy did the cast deliver a great show. The laughs were huge and Barry's final Banjo (although there's a slight chance he'll do the final week) was hilarious. Many interesting folks in attendance, so that was fun. The talkback was also fun and it was surprising how many folks stayed for it.

Then it was time for food - Adryan Russ and her hubby, who were seeing the show for the second time, tagged along, as did Doug. I mostly had the excellent War Wonton soup, a bit of chicken fried rice and a bit of sweet and sour chicken.

Then we went back to the theater and saw the upstairs show - not really my cuppa and, in fact, I just closed my eyes for most of act one and half-dozed off.

After that, we auditioned two more people. I'm thinking we're going to go with the noon guy. The only other candidate is in The Man Who Came to Dinner and I feel he's just a bit too old to play opposite the very young-looking gal we're casting.
