Just remembered Lipton also wrote one of my favorite reference books, An Exaltation of Larks, which lists all of the group names out there, like a murder of crows and a cowder of cats.

I never realized that was his book!

What happens to Pete's delegates?  Can they cast their convention votes to whomever they wish?  Or do they move in a block to someone else?

I wonder what happens to the money that he raised.  I don't expect a refund for what I've contributed, but does it go to the DNC, or to another person running?  Inquiring minds want to know!

It pays expenses.  I doubt there is any leftover money.

I sent a message to Dr Finkelstein who began this shebang with the colonoscopy.  I'm sure it will all work out, but I'll be more comfortable when it's settled.

Ditto!

Dionne Warwick was really good.   I wasn’t expecting much since I’ve seen recent clips of her not sounding too great.  She performed at Cleopatra’s Barge in Caesar’s Palace, which only seats about 175.  We were about 8 feet away from her.  My friend paid extra for the meet and greet opportunity and got a nice photo with her.

I think the way the primary election are run is very unfair and that all states should vote on the same day.

We were supposed to see Cher Saturday night but she’s sick and cancelled her last few shows.  We had heard that Golden Globe winner Pia Zadora performs Fridays and Saturdays at an Italian restaurant called Piero’s.  It sounded like a fun thing to do and it was !

No sign of Grant yet, which is worrisome.  I'm hoping I don't hear from him very late in the day saying he just couldn't do it - that would be very, very bad, so hoping he comes through sooner than later.

Pia sounded good and was a lot of fun. She told some amusing stories about Sinatra and others and showed clips of her appearances on TV and in a Naked Gun movie.  It was a full show.  An older singer named Sonny Charles also performed and sounded great.  Last but not least we saw a drag Liza.  Pia took photos with us and even gave us her new CD ( Todd has asked her about it).  We had arrived at about 7:40 pm.  The show began just before 9 and wasn’t over till about 11:30.  There was a break for about 20 minutes.   It was such a fun night !

We are home from the vet, poorer by $200 (vet costs and two taxi rides).  Dr Mohr looked at a slide from Annabelle's runny nose.  She says it's not an allergy, and most likely a virus.  I have an antibiotic and eye drops to dose her.

I like MR BK's recording - but I think my favorite thing about that show was when Ed Sullivan introduced Dolores Gray and declared that she was now "starving on Broadway in Sherry!"

I am very proud of this recording.  I think it's one of the few where I have no problems with anything I wrote.  There are many tracks on other recordings I would love to have another crack at.
