Apparently Arizona has taken the Swedish approach to the pandemic: 2392 new cases today.

I have a FB friend that has been posting the numbers.  He is extremely high risk having survived an unknown virus a number of years ago that put him in a coma & on a respirator.  He is still dealing with health issues as a result of whatever it was.  Needles to say he is rather scared.

Oh wow that is a lot. In Quebec (8 million people) we are under 100 cases for the first time. But I'm having a hard time feeling at ease to go places. We are only allowed to have a small number of people in our homes (socially distanced) starting on Monday.

The Facebook bastards have blocked me for seven days.

I find it interesting that you were able to post you have been blocked, and then a friend also posted stating you were blocked.  Your "offending" post is gone yet everything else is still up & running except you can't use it.  Can you see your page?

Yes.  I can read posts but I cannot comment.

I am home from seeing Dr Aronoff.  The lesion was benign.

I'm up, I'm up - eight-and-a-half hours of sleep.  Was up from six to seven, but slept well from seven to now.

Stella just jumped onto the stove to get at the chicken, got her paw caught under one of the burner grates and brought it down to the floor with her.  Caught!

She doesn't seem to have injured a paw and leg, so I'm really happy.

I had a deelish dinner: chicken, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and fried onion rings.  I'm feeling quite content at the moment.

TOD:

I think Wodehouse Playhouse was my favorite anthology show. Each week was a different P.G. Wodehouse short story brought to the screen by John Alderton and Pauline Collins. May be the funniest half hour show on TV, IMO. Favorite episode titles include Rodney Fails to Qualify, Trouble Down at Tudsleigh and Portrait of a Disciplinarian. Actually enjoy almost every single episode until season 3 when Collins left.

I also loved The Barbara Stanwyck Show.

Anybody have HBO? Spike Lee has filmed David Byrne's amazing show, American Utopia, and it's debuting on HBO later this year. I saw the show twice and would really like to have a visual memento of it.

Our library reopened today. Because of a non-stop slew of meetings, I didn't get to go over there while they were open. However, over night, nine of the items I have on reserve have gone. So, I do have something to pick up when I do go over there.
