I saw an ad for a matching mask and bow tie :)

I bought four, count 'em, FOUR Hawaiin shirts with matching masks! :D Here's the one I'm wearing today:

Oh, quite stylish! I want to see the others, too.

Friday.

I postponed my trip to the banana store and the bank.....until Monday, and then I realized that Monday is a holiday.

So no bananas until Tuesday.   And I gave my sister Myrna all of my apples and pears.

I guess I will have to eat cupcakes.

I read that as "I have postponed by trip to the Bahamas". :)

:) I usually stop off at the Bahamas after I go to the bank. Don't you?

This morning I thought I felt some food stuck in my teeth. On further inspection I saw that there was a chunk missing from one of my crowns! It doesn't hurt, thankfully, but I hope the dentist can fit me in in less than the usual two-month wait. I was told their patient load is currently at 75%.

A friend in the Bay Area had a tooth collapse recently and he said that he called several local dentists and all are still closed due to Covid.

Then, this afternoon, one of the malfunction indicator lights went on in my car. It's due for a major service anyway, but Covid just makes everything more difficult. I called my mechanic, who said it could be any number of things. It makes no sense to drop the car off prior to surgery, because once it's fixed they'll want me to pick it up and I probably won't be able to drive yet. Sigh. It'd be nice if they could fix my car while the surgeon is fixing me.

Where'd BK go? I think the thought of surgery scared him.

I did laundry this morning to beat this weekend's sweltering temps. 100 degrees in my hood, they said. Now they've lowered that to 96. Ugh! Too hot!

Surgery, surgery.  I don't like it.

Will you be able to let us know how Jeanne is doing?  I believe that had been the original plan back in January.

Poor Keith.   I just disturbed his sleep when I knocked over my water mug.  I had to turn on the lights in order to wipe up the mess.

Under where the water spilled is an extention cord with multiple outlets.   I unplugged it, put my clock cord in the wall outlet and my phone charger in the bathroom.

Oh, is it Friday?  Well, what's in your various and sundried players?  I can't keep track of days anymore.

I finally convinced myself that today was Friday, and then I read today’s notes and the Topic of the day.

I am in much pain today and my mobility is killing me.  I am going back to bed for a bit.  I have a doctor's appointment at 3:30, and if I need to reschedule, I'd like to know by noon.

Following DR Ginny's example I located our county elections office and plan on taking our ballots there.  I am not sure yet when we should receive them.

Washington ballots will be mailed out by October 16.

I have just applied for my Absentee Ballot......to be counted.....

Here in Washington (state), ALL voting is through the mail.  What I really missed from in-person voting is the "I Voted" sticker!  They don't send one with your ballot, so I bought my own roll from eBay. ;)

That's funny.  I doubt I ever wore my "I voted" sticker for very long.  Is your sticker reusable?

No, but he has an entire roll.

I watched an amazing concert film from 1864 called The TAMI Show. I had never heard of it. But it was exceptional.

From 1864?  I saw the one from 1964.

I saw an ad for a matching mask and bow tie :)

I bought four, count 'em, FOUR Hawaiin shirts with matching masks! :D Here's the one I'm wearing today:

OMG i love that!  I want a matching mask and shirt.  I actually have been trying to match my masks to some of my clothes. But I don't have patterns that match other patterns.

Jennifer (and anyone else), if you like the Hawaiian style, I got these at Kona Supply Co.  They have men's, women's AND kids' styles! :D
