Prior to that, there were the dreaded updates requiring a restart - I did them then before it could even load everything it said there was another one. So, did that one and left - it was done by the time I got back. Guess I'll think about food right about now. VERY hot out.

At Ollie's they had Men's 55+ Multiple Vitamins in a 400 count bottle for $4.99. I bought one.

It says "Compare to Centrum Silver".....and I thought well you could probably compare them to "Annette Funicello", too, the result would be just about the same.

This afternoon I watched the first act of Die Zauberflöte, and it's really a lovely Julie Taymor production. I'm just about to lose my chance to get back in for Act II, but that's all right. Some other time. I pulled out my full score halfway through it, and really should have done so at the beginning, because, man, it's been years.

Gearing up to move when my lease is up. A few miles away from where I am now. The rent is cheaper, the area is nicer, and I think I need a change of scene.

We watched the new iteration of The Boys in the Band tonight on Netflix. I've always found the play kind of a bitter pill. But it was very well done.

I ushered for a screening of Chicago tonight. It was great seeing it on the big screen again. And the first time in a few years. I think the movie is actually quite good.

The kids movies (Moana, Sing, Frozen, Lion KIng) are on Sunday afternoon while the more adult fare (Chicago, Rent, Evita, Sweeney Todd) is on Friday nights.

I've been watching MY OCTOPUS TEACHER, a documentary on Netflix streaming. I find it quit interesting. I needed something gentle--no murders or scandal or outrageous behavior.
