In July, my friend Kelly Peterson (Oscar’s widow), bred her three year old boxer, Lena.  After an initial heartbreak, she ended up adopting one of the puppies.  So, here is the official debut of eight-week old Tillie.

Sweet pup and nice photo.  I am sorry about her heartbreak though confused as to why she would have to adopt one of her own puppies.

Am I miss-using the word adopt?  She decided to bring Tillie home from the breader, after her pick of the litter died suddenly, just days before she was going to bring the puppy home.  What should I have said instead of adopt

I thought her dog Lena was the mother of the litter, not the father, and home with your friend.  Or, if Lena is the mother I gather her breeder has claim on the pups and took Lena while she had her babies.

Whew!  It actually worked!  And now that it does, I'm going to shut it all down and go to sleep. ;)

Have a good day, all!

Great :)

Elmore, I don’t eat yogurt. I won’t eat yogurt. End of discussion.

Maybe I’ll have some kimchi instead.

;D

Try these.

There is a protest this morning at the Statehouse in Indianapolis to protest the Covid restrictions.

Why would anyone protest actions that are designed to help one?

It is sad situation.

I watched a Kritzerland show this morning.

It was most excellent.  I loved the opening number.....and especially Mr Robert Yacko's "Anthem" although it was all most entertaining.

I also liked seeing Mr Patrick Cassidy.

Well done!

Our season announcement video is up, but since it's 41 minutes long, I won't link it here.

You can find it on my Facebook page if you like.....OR if you are interested in seeing someone with the definition of Covid Hair.

I love Felix Slatkin so I'll check out this release, although I'm pretty certain that's an EU public domain label so who knows what their sources are.

The Slatkin set has all his Capitol albums and a couple of his Liberty - but I want to hear from folks because all these have to be LP transfers - if they're done well that's fine.  Also, some of the selections have been out on CD on EMI.

Back from the mail place, made ate tacos - very good - and now listening to Das Lied von Der Erde, which is the final thing in the Klemperer set.   The ninth symphony is one of the greatest performances of that symphony EVER.  Head of the class for that one.

The notice has been up for 18 hours and already two completely inadequate folks have been gushing on BookFace that The Narrator is the role they want this summer.....

If I should say such a thing.

My niece and aunt want to come over on Friday to "talk" - it will not be a fun day....hopefully they won't stay too long.

They must think I know something about something.  In fact, I do.  But they won't get anything from me.  They must think I'm like Karen Richards.

Just arrived from London by way of Amazon.co.uk:  The Definitive Supercalifragilistic 2020 Cast Recording of Mary Poppins!  Last month, I received from Germany the Original Munich Cast Recording (in German!) of Tschitti Tschitti Bäng Bäng. :D

I'm listening to Tschitti Tschitti Bäng Bäng right now and will listen to Mary Poppins after that.  It'll be an afternoon of (mostly) The Sherman Brothers!
