Watching an odd, very Catholic Italian film called Seduced and Abandoned, about an unmarried girl who finds herself pregnant. Her family treats her like trash because she’s a disgrace. It’s supposed to be funny but it isn’t. The guy who impregnated her doesn’t want to marry her because he thinks he deserves a virgin. Ugh. Nobody in the movie is worth caring about.

This is the third time I have tried to watch it. I’ve made an hour this time. But I still don’t think I will finish it.

After last night's brilliant ballet discs, I guess I'll do for ballet what I did for opera. I got a couple more with Lauren Cuthbertson, who starred in The Cellist. Romeo and Juliet is one, and Alice in Wonderland with original music by someone is another.
