Today, I'm having my (belated) birthday lunch with my friend Margo. We're going to meet at Eagan's and I think I'm going to have a chili dog with cheese and onions. I'll also get my usual diet Pepsi. It is all quite delish...in my humble opinion (IMHO, in Internet lingo).

I was trying to find out where The Naked Kiss played in LA - imdb lists its opening as October 29, 1964. Wrong. It, in fact, opened on January 13, 1965 as the bottom half of a double bill - top billed was Youngblood Hawke. That's how these kinds of movies were seen originally. One does wonder just what idiot puts these made up dates on the imdb.

Well, hello everyone!. My days have slowed down quite a bit and let me tell you, I'm totally down (or jiggy) with THAT. Both shows have their "opening nights" online in a few days, and I must say I have no interest in sitting through them at this time. Urinetown was shot outside, no green screen, etc so it LOOKS like an actual musical, where Shrek was done in front of a blue screen and was digitally put together. For me, that's not really theatre. So, there you go. No more virtual shows for me if I can help it.

Going to a Giants game this eve, so that makes me very excited, and we are at 36 days until the end of school and the trip to Walt Disney World.

Everything else is business as usual!
