I forgot to comment on DR singdaw's link about Dover Publications having shut down. That came as quite a shock because the fact that they actually went out of business a year ago had flown right by me. Yet another heretofore unimaginable change in our culture.
Sadly, there will be no new Dover scores coming down the pike, but I'm glad to read that the existing ones are still on the market. But I wonder for how long, and you better believe I'll take a close look to see what I might still want. I've got a number of their symphonic and operatic full scores, along with a few other things, that have been absolute godsends. I shall view them henceforth with a higher level of appreciation.
