Ginny, how is Richard?

He and I are about the same and he's assured that we're social distancing by having a "Lord of the Rings" movie marathon in the family room.  Fortunately, I have a weekend cardmaking virtual event to prepare for in my Momcave.

I don't think social distancing at this point will make a difference.  Feel better soon.

Physiologically, no; interpersonally, yes  :-X

Hugs, virtual ones ;)

We just had a dose of the best medicine there is - a video chat with Charlotte.  We even took them for a walk outside to see our almost finished front patio.  They approved and weighed in on the decision we have to make tomorrow about the placement of the hand rails.

Perfect and wonderful :)

Enjoying the reunion photos.

It sounds like John G's been having a good visit, but I'm concerned that he hasn't been getting enough to eat and drink. You must keep your strength up, you know!  ;D

Speak of the devil:

My voice therapy appointment this morning went well, and I have a lot of homework for the week. Lots of new exercises.

And because I realized on my way home tonight that I left a question from DR Elmore unanswered (just like Charles Ives):

I did indeed think of The Sap of Life and I would very much like to do it sometime. We submitted The Streets of New York as an idea, but haven't yet had any response to that.

Also, now that BK's A Carol Christmas is on the cusp of being available, that too has been in my thoughts, especially since I believe one slot we're talking about (too many slots lately, so confusing) is December 2022. Now wouldn't that be something?

I hear the housemates watching (and speeding through the commercials) tonight's 9-1-1. I need to catch up on last week's season premiere before I see this one, especially since they're a two-parter.

DR Jrand71, are you still watching it?

Thanks, John.  And I had a delightful time, too!

When I dropped off John at his AirB&B, I got out my phone to start up Google Maps to find my way home, but I found that I had no cell service! :o

So, I just started driving in the hopes that I'd see some sign of how to get to I-5, or that my phone's cell service would turn back on.

I saw that I reached Lake Washington and practically drove the length of it (going in the wrong direction ::) ) and FINALLY I had cell service.
