I found another wonderful LA driving vid where the guy converts it to 60 frames per second. Someone had figured out the first street shown, but not the others. The guy who posted is always wrong in his dates - this he said was the 30s - even though you can clearly read a billboard about fuel that says 1941, which is accurate. I, of course, figured out the exact week

There's a drive-by a small movie theater and I got what was playing. For two HOURS, I tried to find the theater, but if I'd only rewatched the beginning of the video, where the same theater goes by quickly on the right, I would have realized what theater it was. But I found it anyway. I'll put all this in the notes. All I can tell you is that one of the shots, the second one, is on Eighth Street going east. I was able to identify a hotel on the left and found its address. And had this shot started a mere five seconds prior to when it does, we would have seen my father's restaurant on the right. It literally starts right after that - I recognized the building on the corner (at Hobart) instantly.
