I've been futzing and finessing for almost two-and-a-half hours now - so much smoothing out to do, changed a character name to something I like better, cut things, added things - endless. I've got about eight more pages of that to do, then I can finally get to some new pages.

I had an Island's burger and fries for food. Very good. Ordered via Door Dash with a discount that ended up being the same cost as if I'd gone there. This was a new burger, or at least one I hadn't seen before. Like their classic Big Wave but instead of mustard and ketchup it was thousand island. Excellent. The fries were free - a special promotion on top of the discount. There weren't a huge amount, so that was a good thing.

Last year, they removed a few items from their menu, including one of my favorites, Black Pepper Chicken. Well, for the first time in almost two years, it's back!

I don't like it much, but I'm happy it isn't 6:40 a.m.

After the first week, I move to 12:40 in the afternoon for the rest.

I have my car back and it runs! And I got off cheaply; they just charged me for the oil change. Apparently the battery is fine -- it just sat too long during our unusual deluge. I may have to join the HHW Battery-Charging Club.
