The wedding was okay......my connection failed about twenty minutes in.....and by the time I got back, the couple were saying goodbye.

But I was there for awhile and talked to folks. It was funny that I was in Vermont and saying hello to people who live next door and down the block.

I would definitely not go anywhere where people were unvaccinated, didn't believe in covid, or any type of super spreader event. I can't believe that people are even having big parties right now.

During a port visit to Hong Kong in my Navy days, I stayed at a hotel that had helpful hints posted on the door for all English-speaking guests.

The one I best remember was a warning to any of us who drive. We were invited to "tootle our horns vigorously" if someone stepped out into the street while we were driving
