I don't think people were angry at Jean M. Auel for taking a LONG time to release the 5th, and again for the 6th book in her Earth's Children (Clan of the Cave Bear) series.

I think the difference is Patrick Rothfuss seemed to be very busy doing everything but writing the third book thus frustrating his fans. Still, I agree they didn't need to be nasty about it. Of course most just want to know when or if it will happen.

Periodically I check for updates. For years there hasn't been much except the name of the title. To my surprise I did see a few hints it will be released around July.

Friday I was perusing the condiment aisle and decided at almost 72, perhaps it was time to try a different mustard than French's.

I studied all of the selections and chose Dijon.

I tried it....on a hot dog....and had to throw the hot dog away. Back to French's. I am a mustard heathen.

I'm still waiting for Jim Butcher's second book in the Cinder Spires series. Book 1 came out in 2015. It's now 2022 and still no book 2. $:-\$

Vixdad had the tube removed and he was brought out of sedation today.

He’s still very weak and has had four transfusions , they haven’t sourced the internal bleeding yet

My dad really liked Gulden's too, but he also didn't mind regular yellow mustard.

I'm close to an hour into Valentino and I'm not hating it. It seems to be as oversized as Ken Russell's usual vision of things. The script could be better. Michelle Phillips is a lousy actress. But Nureyev has a good presence, and he fits the Valentino narrative.
