I heard that Microsoft Teams is adding a new emoji:

Does "bangers and mash" always mean bangers with mashed potatoes, or does it sometimes mean bangers with mushy peas?

A classic Coke bottle; a souvenir from when I was in China in the mid 1970s:

Cool.

I had to pay the street vendor the bottle deposit for him to let me keep it.

That makes sense.

Note to BK:

I don't think it went through, but if you should get a text from me with a photo of me and housemate Kristi at Norman Mailer's gravestone in 2010 ... please disregard!

It's been that kind of a day.  :)

You meant to send that to me! (For publication in American Cemetery magazine)

The best Together Wherever We Go was Florence Henderson and Maureen McCormick on The Brady Bunch. Wonder if they ever had licensing issues with that episode.

I heard that Microsoft Teams is adding a new emoji:

Is that emoji going to represent "Maude" Bea Arthur (Maude's catchphrase "God'll get you for that!") or "Golden Girls" Bea Arthur?  Or a combination?

Since posting is not all that busy -

Maybe I'll use your "mushy" cue to link this June wedding song?
"Is It Mushy to Say I Love You?"

(If I'm recalling correctly - this is the only song I ever put on YouTube which had my music and someone else's lyric.)

If the 447 Guests would click on that link and watch for a minute or so, that would be greatly appreciated!  :)

I think it's minute or so that registers a view?  Who knows?

I guess letting it run without watching registers a view, too.  :)

Listening to a demo recording of Charles Strouse’s Minsky’s. I recognized Brent Barrett’s voice immediately. Fun score.

Interesting that Donna Murphy decided to weigh in with much detail in the Audra McDonald - Kecia Lewis - Patti LuPone brouhaha.  From her Instagram account:

" officialdonnamurphy
I’ve had the privilege of knowing, working with and being awed by these two veteran artists since the 1990s. They each were stars from my very first encounter with them. Those 1st encounters for me were as an audience member, being blown away by their astounding gifts (@audramcdonald in #Carousel @lctheater ; @therealkecialewis in the Original Broadway Company of #OnceonthisIsland .) I then had the honor of workshopping shows w/each of them. I witnessed, up close, not only their immeasurable artistry, but their dedication, discipline, kindness, humor, grace under pressure, strength, support of the communities we were a part of, & their luminous humanity. Since then, I’ve watched Audra and Kecia’s stars’ continue to rise and shine brighter over the years. Their lives & careers have grown, the children they have raised/are raising thrive with their hard working & loving mothers’ support, and they have never been anything less than warm, kind & supportive anytime we have encountered each other.
I do not understand why we cannot use our moments on this earth to lift and support one another. Especially when, as fellow artists, we know the vulnerability & challenges of day to day survival. We live lives of uncertainty. Add to that being women of color who have historically been undervalued, mistreated, and worse. Praise them, raise them up, honor them. And in my case: love them. Sending my love & deepest respect to these two superstars. 💖💖🙌🙌🌟🌟👑👑💞💞 "

Got the hard drive back and watched the first thirty minutes of act one - most is fine, but there's one error where a blackout happens too soon (we put in proper blackouts - in the show the musician stand lights were always on) and I found two or three other small things to adjust. Hoping we can do that tomorrow.
