Today I discovered that the hydraulics in my office chair had slowly over time lowered my seat. I adjusted it up a full four inches and now I have a new outlook on life!

The new toilets arrived today. Well, the bowls did. But not the tanks. Sigh.

Mazeltov on your (partial) new arrivals!

Will there be a bidet?

Alas, no. No room. I know they make bidets that glom onto or otherwise amend regular seats. Perhaps something to explore.

Thankfully, that's done and I can move on, but right now I literally cannot see straight so I'm taking a break.

I had a bacon cheeseburger for food from Islands. I haven't ordered from there in years because they would always muck up the order - and - today was no exception. They forgot the fries. I called them and they really could not care less, It's really a shame.

How rude! >:(

Hopefully, it stays at the new (but really original) height!

Tuesday is officially over on the east coast, but I still have a little bit to post Tuesday news!

Truth is, I have none...other than I hate FedEx's local driver who, in stormy weather, left a box beside my garage door, exposed to the elements, rather than putting it out of harm's way on my front porch which is protected from the elements.  I guess it wasn't convenient for him, but the box held an expensive book that, fortunately, escaped ruin.  The box it was shipped in was soaked through and fell apart while I was opening it.

We have had nothing BUT troubles with Fed Ex hereabouts for several months.  Trouble is, the longtime delivery guy was an older man who died six months ago.  We never had problems with him. Many folks, including me, have had their packages left at addresses not even remotely similar to the addresses on the packages.

The best thing about living here, however, is that local folks genuinely care about mail getting to the right place, and most of us have had our packages brought to us by the folks who got them in error.

I lived in Italy for nine-and-a-half years.  All my apartments had bidets in them.  Most Americans loved to do strange things, like putting plants in them.  I always used mine for a foot wash.

Having someone remove the seat from your chair would also give you a new outlook on life!
