I am back on my feet, but not 100%, after my recent surgery. Recovery always seems to take longer than you expect — frustratingly so. All seems to be on track, though. Thank you for all the vibes. I’m sure they helped.
I was so annoyed with PBS yesterday. I wanted to stream Call The Midwife, but couldn’t find it on the PBS site. They had a link to the show’s page, even a Where to Watch section, but no information on where to stream. It’s available on Amazon Prime, but for a fee. Given how long I’ve been supporting PBS I don’t feel I should have to pay a fee for a PBS show. Grrrr. I think very highly of PBS programming, but their viewer relations often suck. They won’t answer questions, either — they just refer you to the FAQs. Double grrr.
I found an outstanding show on Netflix. Benedict Cumberpatch in Eric. Cumberpatch is wonderful in it and the show has more depth than most shows of this sort (missing child). Definitely recommended.
Hi, Jane and thank you.

A hit for Perry Como.
The Odessa File had music by Andrew Lloyd Webber - one of his earlier credits
Tonight my sister Paula and I are going to see THE CEMETERY CLUB.Two performances - two standing ovations.....so I hope tonight continues the trend. This weekend my friend Vickie who directed Act Two is doing the green room circle and curtain speech. Next week I will be doing it - and then drive home I will be done by 8:05 or so - plenty of time to drive home while it is still light.
Recovery seems to take longer all the time. I still haven't completely recovered from the darn colonoscopy prep.
