Took the boy child today to a weirdly early weekday birthday laser-tag party. When that was all done we hied on down to Washington proper for a pediatric skin checkup. Hit the KFC because I had a craving for the Colonel, then headed home sweet home.

But only fifty-three paying people - thirty comps - I can't do that ever again - I lost money for the first time at Catalina. Not doing that again. I don't know what's going on - maybe people just don't want to go places anymore. But I have people I've called friends for many years who have never seen a single show of ours - I think I'm done with those people, frankly, and frankly I think I'll let them know it.
