Well, you've read the notes, the notes had waxy nostalgic buildup, and now it is time for you to post until the waxy cows come home in a taxi after sending a faxy.

John G wrote last night: "London revival of Bat Out of Hell to be filmed. What next? We Will Rock You?"

Thanks for the alert, John!  Could be a reason to try to re-plug our Bat Out of Hell parody song, one of my favorites of the Jan Horvath parody vocals.   (Also, recalling that in 2019 when Bat Out of Hell played in New York, $249 was considered a very high ticket price - look where prices have gone since then!)

"We're All in the Balcony Now"- "Bat Out of Hell" parody to tune of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now"

DR John G, my favorite Greenaway film is The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover, but I find his films, like you, pretentious with beautiful color, design, and photography. I liked much of Prospero's Books, but I detested the Nyman score. The first time I heard about Greenaway was when The Draughtsman's Contract; it had a great cast and I still don't know what was going on.

I've also seen A Zed & Two Naughts (yawn), The Belly of an Architect (yawn), and The Baby of Macon, which was so offensive it couldn't get a US distributor with its mix of religion, violence, and nudity, and a finale in which Julia Ormond is gang-banged to death.

I took a Benadryl for both allergy drying-up and sleep last night, which worked, but I'm moving a bit slow right now. In exactly one hour I must shower and go out and play a voice lesson.

I couldn’t make it through Belly of an Architect, though I really like Brian Dennehy. I’ll pass on Macon.

I also liked all the shows mentioned in today's notes.

I didn't like The Roy Rogers Show for one reason:

Pat Brady.
