THE IONESCO NOTES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Ionesco-like, and now it is time for you to post until the surreal cows come home.

I found it!  The original (but unapproved) cover art for Believe that I had rescanned more than 20 years ago!:

I slept rather well, which I was unsure of since my legs by 5:00 yesterday afternoon were shot to hell. After I got the cats' dinners, I called my doctor and cancelled today's appointment. I was in no shape - or mood - to push a walker around Fifth Avenuied and 98th Street in agonizing pain. After I reschedule the appointment this morning, I plan on taking it very easy.

Elmore, you should post a link to the Amazon page on the Forgotten Musicals page.

Elmore, you should post a link to the Amazon page on the Forgotten Musicals page.

Also on castrecl, or maybe someone else will post it on castrecl congratulating you on the book's release.

Is the publisher a castrecl list member, maybe?

It might even get some back and forth going on castrecl, since you're such a regular and beloved poster on castrecl, so I'd bet once it's posted about, people will chime in to wish you well.

(Since BK's book is also so on-topic for castrecl, that could be useful there, too - once the consolidation of the amazon pages shows up.)

Larry, do you know Darrel Karl or Kerr Lockhart?  They seem to be people in castrecl who are known for spreading word in new releases.

It really feels like there's a potential animated musical in ANNABELLE AND THATCH, from skimming it so far.  Or even a stage musical:  Forget the new CATS revival!  This is what cats are really thinking, LOL.

BK, regarding what you asked yesterday, I'm terrible - especially as I've gotten to silver citizen age territory - about sitting down and reading an entire book.  I'd bet Skip will read the whole book, once we get it in paper form!

Thanks, DR John G!  I ordered one for myself. I haven't seen anything since the galleys, and I want to see how the blurbs, which were not yet written when the galleys were printed, and redone illustrations came out.
