Grandpa will do the honors. I expect I'll see him after dark. He'll be playing Roblox for a few hours.

You just do everything you can at 5 a.m., Jane. If you have to go out, cars have AC.

Sometimes I don't fall asleep until 4:00am.

DIL texted and asked if we can pick up Grandson at school. It's too hot out for her to walk a half mile to the school, then half a mile back home.

It seems like such a short walk, yet with the heat it was smart of her to call you.

I looked up Roblox.  It looks like a great game to do with kids.

We're usually in bed around 8. And I get up around 3:30 or 4.

Fingers crossed that the Mac Mini is delivered. I assume you have to be there to sign for it?

Today, a local start-up delivered a batch of soups: cucumber gazpacho and watermelon gazpacho. Haven't tried either one yet.

For some reason, though I am curious about why there's so much buzz (some from sources I respect) about THE HUNTING WIVES -  after two episodes, we can't seem to get enough interest to resume watching.

Maybe the online synopses will give a clue of what's worthwhile about it.

Regular gazpacho.

Serve it over pasta and you can call it gazpasta.

Checkup at the dermatologist tomorrow, first thing in the a.m.

(9:30 is "first thing in the a.m." for me.)  :)

What a coinkydink (sort of)!  I went today to get labs for my dermatologist.

However, when I got there, they didn't have the order from the dermatologist!  Fortunately, my regular doctor also wanted labs, so it wasn't a totally wasted trip.

But the very nice labs people gave me a number to send to my dermatologist for them to fax the order to the labs.  I did that, the dermatologist sent the order back to the labs, and very shortly after that, I got the message that very soonly I have to go back for more blood to be drawn (but not quartered). ::)

And THEN, I walked to the post office to (finally) mail a Blu-ray disc to DR Larry!
