So that song that was added to the Mame revival - it is by Herman? I've never heard it before. Nice clip!

The song is called "That's How Young I Feel," and was in the original Broadway production.  It was cut from the movie with Lucy.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Woo hoo - Hannah Cruz is playing Svetlana in the upcoming Broadway revival of Chess. I loved her singing of Inez on the Suffs album so now I'll get to hear her in person. There's also a nice big ensemble for all the juicy chorus music in the score.

I love that score.

Can you imagine how Lucy would have handled the choreography while she belched out “feel” every once in a while?

Thanks for remembering!  The Susan Boyle parody in volume 1.  There's a celebrity name that was so incredibly hot for a while; at the time, I'd have thought she'd never cool down.

I do, too.  I still have my original vinyl album to the 1984 studio cast recording, which, in my humble opinion, is probably the best version.

Lucy, you got some homework to do!  (almost a Ricky Ricardo quote)

Google's AI does some explainin' of the Ricky Ricardo quote:

The line "Lucy, you've got some 'splainin' to do!" is a famous Mandela Effect, as it was never actually said by Ricky Ricardo in I Love Lucy. While he often told Lucy she had "some 'splain" to do, or "you got some 'splaining" to do, the exact phrase became popular through misquotes and parodies, with impressionists and comedians altering the line slightly for comedic effect.

Essentially, the misquote became more famous than the actual lines from the show, leading to the widespread belief that the exact phrase "Lucy, you've got some 'splainin' to do!" was a part of I Love Lucy.

Musically it may be the best, but I refer the original Broadway for the cast. Judy Kuhn was never better.

Starting another movie. This time it’s Bette Davis in Dangerous. She won an Oscar for it. Never seen it before.

We did a whole booklet for Rare Tracks? So it was a proper pressed CD. Why don't I remember this and why don't we have any - or maybe we do?
