The pie is really good because it’s not corn syrupy sweet.

When I was checking in here, the front desk girl (‘cast member ‘) told me severe weather was expected. Maybe even … rain.

I’m having a mild reaction to the covid vaccine. Arm is sore and I can’t get too active. I feel kinda puny.

Hope you feel better quickly!

I guess the premise of the first few episodes of the Sally Field show was that she was psychic. Then they dropped that after awhile. It’s not part of the BK episode. John Davidson’s brother on the show, I’m like, who is this mush-mouthed clown? Then I recognized him as the voice of “Conjunction Junction” and several other Schoolhouse Rock episodes.

That's Jack Sheldon!  When I was in the jazz choir at Western Washington University, the jazz instructor and bass player extraordinaire, Chuck Israels, invited Jack to perform with the jazz bands.  He did a little workshop that we in the choir got to sit in on.  He was a great guy. :)

Sure glad those weather people were accurate about that cold front that was absolutely positively definitely bringing much cooler weather - that never arrived. It is currently at seven-fifteen, ninety-two degrees outside. It was about ninety-eight earlier. Yeah, that's sure cool weather. NOW they're saying well, it's coming but it might not hit until - wait for it - November. These people should be put out to pasture.

This was the temperature where my car was parked, just as I was leaving to go to rehearsal earlier tonight:

I never could quite cotton to the Ubbubbi Dubbubbi that they spoke on Zoom!

I could neither understand, nor figure out, how that worked. :P

Sitting here trying to install all the monthly software updates on my work computer. They take F-O-R-E-V-E-R to download and install.

At my ex-library, the IT department locked down all the computers and made sure that they sent out all updates for any and all programs.

No one had to worry about doing any of that on their own.

And anyone who worked from home had a library laptop, so they never had to install work programs on their home computers.
