I have a dental cleaning tomorrow morning at 7:00am.
I just got our Wreck the Halls rehearsal schedule. Next week is the only heavy one, with rehearsals Monday through Thursday. After that, it's two weeks of Monday through Wednesday, and then just a few individual run-throughs prior to tech week. This is light, and it's possible because literally everyone involved has directed/sung/played/produced/stage-managed the show multiple times. It's performed every two years and the book gets a few updates each time, but you just can't beat this kind of familiarity and flow.
RIP Robert Redford. Here's a tribute from my film professor, Mick LaSalle. Our next class with him starts next week.https://www.sfchronicle.com/entertainment/article/robert-redford-dead-appreciation-21051359.php?utm_source=marketing&utm_medium=copy-url-link&utm_campaign=article-share&hash=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuc2ZjaHJvbmljbGUuY29tL2VudGVydGFpbm1lbnQvYXJ0aWNsZS9yb2JlcnQtcmVkZm9yZC1kZWFkLWFwcHJlY2lhdGlvbi0yMTA1MTM1OS5waHA%3D&time=MTc1ODEzMjg2MzkwMA%3D%3D&rid=YTFmNzFkOWYtODA5Zi00NmZmLWEwMjEtNmRlODcxMTY4NjA3&sharecount=MA%3D%3D
I would love to read the Robert Redford tribute, but I'm not willing to give the Chronicle my email address.
Now here is how you make a Detroit style pizza. Note that dark brown crust from the carmelized cheese, which works thanks to the shape of the pan. This is from Loui's, the absolute pinnacle of this style since 1977.
Here's a slice shot, where you can see that crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside crust.
I love this 1969 photo of Robert Redford and his cat!
Oh, I don't mind. It means I won't have to miss any work.
