The most interesting thing happened around 7:55. There was a knock at my door. Ann came in, said she was running late and couldn't talk. picked up the books for the post office and headed for the door. I said, let me give you my credit card, and she said, we'll discuss it later and left.
I hope they're not sitting in a trash bin on Broadway now.

That's great that she was finally able to pick them up, but hopefully, they're on their way!

I was just mean enough to find the mugshot online.....but I won't share it.

Just say you were curious to find the mugshot.  It was the right thing not to share it :)

Russian Tea Cakes are my favorite cookie

I have a recipe for Mexican Wedding cakes that I love.  I believe they are basically the same.  I, of course, do not like them with nuts.

Also last night, John asked:
Quote
How far is Issaquah from you, George?

It's supposed to be about an hour and 15 minutes away, but probably isn't more an hour and a half (depending on traffic).

A Facebook friend, really more of an acquaintance, is chef of a place in Issaquah.

Very cool.

Food ordered using my gift card from the Facebook settlement - it was for thirty-seven bucks, not bad.

I don't think I answered the TOD yesterday:

Vanilla Wafers.

What a coinkydink!  Just a couple of days ago, I came across this vid by Dylan Hollis on a Vanilla Wafer Cake from 1985!

SPOILER ALERT:  he didn't love it. ::)

On Wednesday night my nephew's ex-wife - who showed up at the courthouse last week but then left. Myrna said she thinks Mindy saw me and thought I was an attorney.

Anyway....she was stopped by the police on Wednesday night - although she drove from them for several miles. They then arrested her for DUI and disorderly conduct an because she is on probation she will now have to serve her entire original sentence. Myrna didn't remember what the sentence was, but Mindy will be in the slammer for awhile....

Oh, my goodness! :o

Justice served!

I cannot get enough of that "Russian spy-floor lamp" garb that stupid twat Malaria wore to England. Probably cost us taxpayers thousands of dollars.

I did watch a movie on the plane, which is about the only place I see movies. A Ron Howard documentary about Jim Henson. Quite good. Excellent footage and interviews. No random modern pop stars showing up to throw in their opinions. A success, in my book.

Very nice.

And speaking of Jim Henson...I wonder if season's four and five of The Muppet Show will ever be released. :-\

But I love Oreos now.

There are two kinds of people:  those who love Oreos, and those who are wrong! ;)

DR Rodzinski, I love Randy Sparks' songs for Advance to the Rear, but that film is pure dreck of the worst sort.

He clearly put a lot of effort into some really good songs. But yeah, the movie didn’t rise to his work, and I wanted to like it.
