On the last episode of Outrageous. I hadn’t seen James Purefoy in a while, perhaps not since the days of the series Rome. He’s a wonderful actor.

Speaking of John Barry, as BK was in the notes, I watched a documentary the other day about one of my favorite bands, a-Ha. They are basically known for one huge hit in the U.S. (“Take On Me”), but around the world they had much greater lasting success.

They did the theme from the Bond film “The Living Daylights” and do not paint a great picture of working with Barry, who they squabbled with.

Thanks to JRand, I now have the Tubi app and watched that Clift documentary. Wish it was twice as long! Amazing trove of new information and audio. Delves into the weirdness of why Clift’s brother recorded so much. It’s a great perspective on the damage done when we try to affix a neat narrative to a complex life.

He fixed it and it worked for about twenty seconds and then went down. We are under attack. Why any entity of bot bitches would want to attack a discussion board like ours is anyone's guess. What jollies do they get out of it, or do they even know or care WHAT sites they're doing it to?

Got some lo mein with chicken from a nearby Chinese jernt I've never tried but that's well thought of by the trendy. They're pretty okay - had to add a bit of soy sauce to perk 'em up. That helped.

Watched half a monster movie from 2006 - Korean, directed by the guy who did Okja, Parasite, and the new Mickey 17. He is known for mixing comedy and with his scary, but the family at the center of this movie is so stupid, it's like watching The Three Stooges. Hard to invest. And yet, it's considered the best monster movie of the 2000s and some think it's one of the best of all time.
