Took my boy to his climbing class today which afforded me some time to hit some thrift shoppes in British Columbia. Found a nice Blossom Dearie 2-record set, “My New Celebrity is You.”

I'd never read the book nor seen the movie all the way through, but I did remember seeing/reading/hearing about who killed the bad guy and how he was killed so that even though that wasn't a surprise, I enjoyed the stories of each of the characters told as Poirot interviewed the suspects.

One actress was in An Inspector Calls in Tacoma that I stage managed last year, so it was really nice to see her again.

And I must admit that she has really improved as an actress.  She was good back then, but tonight she had a short scene that almost brought tears to my eyes...in a good way.
