I saw the preview of Maigret - you could not cast it worse - so wrong on every level, including mispronouncing the name. Bruno Cremer remains my favorite Maigret, but I also have the original 1960 Brit series here and Simenon liked that guy very much.

Watching a forgotten international production of a film called Dead Run, a spy caper vehicle for Peter Lawford, based on the Stephen Dain books by one of my favorite authors, Robert Sheckley.

Ira von Furstenberg is hilarious in this film so far though she’s entirely overdubbed by an English voice.
