Most of the reviews I read for Versailles were poor to middling https://playbill.com/article/read-the-reviews-for-the-queen-of-versailles-on-broadwaBut the posts on Facebook have been vicious. If audiences don’t like the show, it’s doubtful the NYT will help for long. It sounds like it needs the Nine or Wish You Were Here treatment. Keep working.

Went to the memorial service of my friend today. Folks tried to be joyous, but that actually worked against it. Still, it was a nice sendoff.
