Costco is a madhouse today. Do people think today is the holiday?

I was surprised how busy it was on Friday.  I expect it will only get worse going forward.

I need to pick up some medication refills at Fred Meyer and was thinking about going to Costco for a hot dog or one of their new calzones...crowds be damned! :)

Well, I didn't go to Costco.  I drove through Taco Bell and got a Burrito Supreme. :)

This news story made me smile.

"Federal officers stationed at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in South Portland watched from the rooftop on Sunday as a new protest crowd gathered across the street.
About two dozen Fulcrum Fitness members and supporters, dressed in neon leotards, striped knee socks and sneakers, staged a peaceful 80s-themed aerobics demonstration called “Sweatin’ Out the Fascists.”

Good for them! ;D

I hope everyone can see the photo since I took it off of Facebook.

If they didn't work for you, here's the first one reduced in size to be able to upload:

And here's the second one.  It was small enough, so it's the original size:

This Saturday I'll be seeing a community theater production of Fun Home, which I haven't seen before. The actress playing Helen was the Isabel to my Pozzo when we did a concert production of Sousa's El Capitan.

Hope you like the show.  I've seen a couple of local productions (and actually with the same lead) and they were both very well done.

I think that's a good bet. I've heard the cast recording. I haven't seen this company's shows before, but the folks I recognize in the cast I've enjoyed in past roles.

That's encouraging. :)

The murder victim in Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? is named Allen Carstairs, which is also the name of the dead composer in The Bishop’s Wife.

Very interesting.  Could they be the same character, just in different stories? ;)

This morning, the Kennedy Center's official FB page posted something about their Grand Foyer being longer than the Washington Monument is tall.

I posted "Not as long, however, as the list of 47's lies."

MAGA world jumped on me. Not very witty retorts, however.

Good for you, Singdaw!! :))

However, at 4:56pm, we got notified that all water in the building was going to be turned off. And at 5:00pm, that turned out to be true.

Yikes! :o

However, we had to tell our guests that if they needed to use the bathroom, they wouldn't be able to flush.

I've been dozing, which is annoying, so it got too late to watch anything.
