We also had the Jewel Tea Man who had a great truck and had some great merchandise.  I think my mother once bought a full set of multicolored Melmac dinnerware from here.  That stuff lasted forever and I still may have a saucer or two.

Do they look like this?

Back from the best filet mignon I've ever had and a fun early birthday lunch, then shipping a small package.

That's great, BK!

In all my life, I must say I’ve never seen a Fuller Brush Man.

Neither have I.

I think The Fuller Brush Man used to come to our house when I was younger than school age.

We also had the Jewel Tea Man who had a great truck and had some great merchandise.  I think my mother once bought a full set of multicolored Melmac dinnerware from here.  That stuff lasted forever and I still may have a saucer or two.

I don't think my mom ever got into those sell-at-home kind of enterprises.  She was born and raised in Germany, so the idea may have been too foreign to her.  Just a guess.

Did she buy any Tupperware?  If so, she might have gone to a Tupperware party to support a friend.

My sister did host some Pampered Chef parties that friends of her were selling.  The pizza stone that I have (and got from my sister ;) ) is from Pampered Chef.

I went to one of those in Ashland.  I can't remember what I purchased.

Is it for a private school or for the public school district, or both?

Public.

In other news, at some point in the next week or so, the site will be down for two hours while they finally get everything updated and move us to new servers where we won't have any of the issues we've been having.

HOO AND RAY!!  And do you know if the HHW clock also be fixed?? :-\ It's already creeping ahead.

This was posted at 4:20 pm, but the time stamp says 4:24 pm.

I hadn't notice until you mentioned it.

Tonight will be the first read-through/rehearsal for Theater Artists Olympia's next production, Anna Considers Mars. by Ruben Grijalva.  I haven't read the script yet, but I do have a copy of it.  I think it has some sci-fi element(s) to it, but I don't know how sci-fi-y it is.

What are you doing with this show?

I'll be running the sound board, and be the assistant stage manager (whatever that does).

Have fun :)

Then she purchased it from someone hosting a party or selling Tupperware.  She didn't actually need to go to the party.

Never having heard of the Jewel Tea man I did a search which is how I found the Autumn Leaf dishes.  Not melmac which I couldn't find with my search.

Very interesting, I inherited the bowl that I posted from Keith's mother.  The bottom of the bowl looks like this.
