So, yesterday's first rehearsal had to be canceled.  The director's husband (and this show's stage manager) was in an accident and his car* was totalled! :( MOST fortunately, he is fine.  But, because of the accident and some other issues, we're not having rehearsals this week.

*I don't know if it was my former Ford Escort that I gave them, or their SUV that they had. :-\

Oh no!  I hope he still feels fine today.

Boom! Suddenly I was back to the comments on September 12, 2012.

This happens sometimes.

HHW is a time portal.

Indeed it is.

I am reminded that my account as "Freddie" (which I'd opened the same day as removing my previous "FJL" account) was opened March 24, 2020, about two weeks into Covid hitting big in.   Something must have been going on (having to do with Covid?) in some way that caused such a reaction - but it looks like my info as "FJL" is gone.

:o  I thought it was still there.  I wonder how long it has been gone.

Have you seen it recently?

I wonder if when I deleted it, it was related to my concerns that the crooked lawyers for my crooked brother and his crooked wife were going back over old posts, trying to gather character info they felt should get me removed as our parents' executor.

February and March 2020 would have been the time THAT might have happened, since it was right after my Mom's hospital stay end of Feb. 2020 (into March 2020) that my Mom re-did her health proxy to put me first and made my brother second.  My crooked brother and his crooked wife really hated that, and a lot escalated.

Saturday night I watched The Fabulous Baker Boys for the first time.

For some reason I had a different understanding of what the movie was so I have ignored it all of these decades.

Turns out, I liked it.

Steak au poivre was another one I loved the couple of times I had it in LA. Someplace on Wilshire Blvd., west of the 405? Anyway, one of my kinds of prep/seasoning, for sure.

It’s really easy to make at home, and super fun to set the bourbon on fire for the sauce.

I also celebrated by going to our only PB&J restaurant, which I had been meaning to try for a few years now. The owner always votes in my library and wears his shirt.

I had the Kitchen Sink: peanut butter, cream cheese, walnuts, coconut flakes, banana, bacon and blackberry-jalapeno jam.

Same here. I turned it on and stuck with it for a few minutes, and realized I'm probably fine with it. And I was. Go figure.

What did you fellas think it was vs what did it turn out to be? I never saw it but always thought it was kind of a lounge act love triangle.

I probably just thought I saw it.  It makes more sense that you would have deleted it when you needed to take a break from public posts.

This is an interesting, in a good way, idea.  I think they should serve homemade potato chips with the sandwiches.

It is worth seeing simply to see the Bridges's brothers acting together.
