So, yesterday's first rehearsal had to be canceled.  The director's husband (and this show's stage manager) was in an accident and his car* was totalled! MOST fortunately, he is fine.  But, because of the accident and some other issues, we're not having rehearsals this week.

*I don't know if it was my former Ford Escort that I gave them, or their SUV that they had.

Oh no!  I hope he still feels fine today.

I haven't asked how he's doing, but she hasn't sent a text to the show group saying he's not doing well.  So, I'm thinking no news is good news.

Saturday night I watched The Fabulous Baker Boys for the first time.

For some reason I had a different understanding of what the movie was so I have ignored it all of these decades.

Turns out, I liked it.

I haven't seen it, either.  Maybe I should, too.

I also celebrated by going to our only PB&J restaurant, which I had been meaning to try for a few years now. The owner always votes in my library and wears his shirt.

I had the Kitchen Sink: peanut butter, cream cheese, walnuts, coconut flakes, banana, bacon and blackberry-jalapeno jam.

Oh, my goodness!  I've never even heard of a PB&J restaurant.  But that sandwich looks and sounds really good.

It was pretty darn good, except I couldn’t taste the coconut.

I love coconut.  I'd be disappointed, too.

I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep - was up for two hours at five-thirty. And now, it's LATE. Food ordered from Jersey Mike's.

I almost went to Jersey Mike's today after my appointment, but I ended up going to Meconi's Italian Subs instead.

I got my usual Combo with pepperoni added, Cosmo style (toasted), and I added an order of chili.

The Combo sub was quite good, and the chili wasn't too bad.

I'm sure I am not remembering how quickly you deleted your old account.  That is wonderful your parents knew you were not crazy and did not believe what your sister-in-law was saying.  The whole situation is very sad.

But they and their lawyers WERE able to convince my parents' caregivers in Florida that I was not to be listened to in my parents' care.


(one of their Florida lawyers happening to be the same powerful Florida lawyer as Ghislaine Maxwell's!)
