Yes DR RODZINSKI it never really was a destination location....a lot of we state employees went there on our lunch hours because there was an underground tunnel from our office building to CCM.

Wasn't the FOLLIES OBC some kind of die cut LP?

I may be hallucinating.

How about the Lost Horizon soundtrack LP? Or was that more of a weird flap? I forget. It was an odd one.

Send excellent vibes and xylophones for the arrival of something important. Supposed to arrive today, but who knows.

Were you possibly thinking of the Merrily We Roll Along original cast album?

Lost Horizon on Bell Records, home of the Partridge Family. Definitely a gatefold but I don’t think it was die-cut.

I couldn’t find my copy but there was some weird element like the front cover gatefold was like a split door, where you could open just the top or bottom half.

The rain is pounding on the home environment. Really hope we don't lose power. But I'm going to bed shortly anyway.

Hope you didn't/don't lose power!

I'm happy to hear my friend Bryce is in Chess since he and Scarlett have a baby to keep in baby things. Hs wife Scarlett is the Liza Doolittle on the John Wilson recording of My Fair Lady. DR Ginny and I saw them both in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.

I really like the A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder cast recording. :)

When we were hoping to record Jubilee in 1921, I had cast Bryce and Scarlett as Eric Dare and Karen O'Kane. I'm afraid that's my last chance to record the score.

Darn. :(

Joshie has asked me to listen to the OBC of High Sprits, one of my favorite scores. I may have some work on the Encores! production. I can't say anything about the cast except that the Mme Arcati is perfect casting.

Very cool, Larry! :D

There have only been the original Broadway and London cast recordings.  It's due for a modern album!

From a Minnesota post on Facebook:
My parents recently noticed four stray cats showing up in their garden. They were thin, cautious, and always together — like a little family trying to survive the Minnesota winter. ❄️

My dad couldn’t stand seeing them out in the cold, so he decided to build something special — a tiny cat “condo” tucked right by the trees. It’s insulated, lined with straw, and fitted with gentle heat lamps to keep them warm through the freezing nights. Inside are cozy blankets and little shelves where they can curl up safely.

He even built a small raised platform to hold food and water — high enough to keep raccoons and other animals from getting to it. And, because he couldn’t help himself, he added a birdhouse nearby “for entertainment,” as he put it.

Now, every night, you can see the glow of the warm shelter from the window — and inside, four content cats curled up together, finally safe. ❤️

It’s amazing what a bit of compassion can do. Sometimes love doesn’t need words — just a little shelter, a warm light, and a heart that cares.

Very sweet story.  That's an AI generated image, but still a sweet story. :)

I do wonder how raccoons or other animals would be kept out of that warm space.

Of course the sets are nowhere near as elaborate as The Queen of Versailles. But they filled the stage a lot better than Ragtime, where what few sets there were looked exactly like the Encores transfer it is.

That's too bad for Ragtime.
