DR George, thanks for the post of "Sing for Your Supper." I saw it when PBS first broadcast that Sylvia Fine (Mrs Danny Kaye) series. I loved Kaye Ballard, eho was a dear friend from 1988 to her death. The last time I saw her was when BK recorded Jason Graae's album of Charles Strouse songs.
I've worked as well with both Donna McKechnie, whom I helped organize her music for a Theatre Guild cruise show, and Roberta Peters, whom I've adored since she sang "Glitter and Be Gay" on the Perry Como show around 1964. She also sang with Como the Don Giovanni duet "La ci darem la mano." I got to work with her when she was guesr artist for one of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus holiday concerts. Ahe was one of the best.
