I had to leave at 7:30 this morning for a medical appointment.  I'm glad we did not switch to Daylight Saving Time all year round or it would have been dark outside.

Hoping all went well.

Thanks.  It was a yearly test.  I suppose I'll have the results by tomorrow.

There was even time before breakfast for Keith to cover my healing wounds after I cleaned them and put the antibiotic ointment on them.

The one on my arm from the surgery, that needed the stitched removed that did not disolve, is looking much much better and not so ugly.

The one on my hand that had the double spray to zap what is probably skin cancer is beginning to look better.

Fortunately I treated them before they became infected.

Good afternoon.

First day without rain here in a week. I took a long walk to the bank to pay the credit card bill.

Four hours into the training. It’s long, but not as long as a school day

I've been seeing previews for Hamnet, which I would like to see. Has anyone read the novel? I'm puzzled that Anne Hathaway in this new film has been given a different name - Agnes - and I am puzzled.

I assume the third item in that bathroom is the toilet.  Or am I wrong?

Not Michel Legrand, but how have I not known before today that Ronan Farrow did a music video?

Leigh Nash sings "Cry" with Villiers (Official Music Video)

Villiers is his mom's (Mia Farrow's) middle name.

As to rules about when to let the author see a rehearsal - the only time I keep them away is when I'm blocking and working with the actors. That is OUR time - to play, to experiment, to try things and throw them out, and not be inhibited by people sitting there watching that process. Once we're past that, which we will be after tonight, hopefully, he can come watch as much as he likes.

A fun approach to a Kander and Ebb song from Kiss of the Spider Woman.

Intersting New York Times article
"5 Minutes That Will Make You Love Musicals
Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sara Bareilles, Joshua Henry, Jeanine Tesori, Jason Robert Brown and New York Times writers and editors pick 13 songs to seal the deal."
