We are going to watch Blue Moon tonight.  I know Bruce did not like it.  Did anyone like it?

Dinner was fine. I don't know why it is at Thanksgiving, but I really don't eat all that much and yet I feel like I've eaten five full meals.

Had one half piece of turkey, one small slice of ham, two bites of a cheese enchilada, a few bites of salad.

The substantial was stuffing, one and a half helpings.

One tiny roll and corncake, one helping. One small helping of cranberries. That is IT.

And believe me, they had lots of stuff I didn't try at all.

Waddled to my car and came right home.

[bk]

That was four-thirty.

[bk]

I sat on my couch, turned on the Firestick and went out within two seconds of doing so. Just woke up at six-fifteen.

Still full.

Really full.

[bk]

I could watch Kiss of the Spider Woman tonight.

We shall see.

I got antsy during it. But the movie stayed with me for days.

I just finished the last of Maigret, season one. The last of the three was the best, but I still don’t get the connection to the Simenon series.

I’m now starting CODA, which I have never seen before.

Hart is almost at rock bottom. He’s pathetic. And yet, if you know his work, you know he’s brilliant, even if his style is becoming dated. Rodgers was an ugly person on the inside. Elizabeth is using Hart, and he’s aware of it, but he’s smitten.

POSSIBLE "BLUE MOON" SPOILER

In the movie, despite seeming so unpleasant, Rodgers still seems to keep trying to throw Hart lifelines, like writing new songs together for the Connecticut Yankee revival, asking him over and over to make sure Hart knows hw's wanted at the party later that night, Rodgers even acknowledging that he wouldn't have a career without Hart.
