We have our washer & dryer delivery and hookup this morning between ten and noon. Pray that everything goes well with that. I need to do some laundry!  :)

Then, this afternoon I must get myself back in gear for playing the show!

I hope it all went well, ChasSmith!

I may be the vodka drinker.
Well not this early in the day.

As "they" say:  It's five o'clock somewhere.

Well that was an ordeal.

For someone reason the battery in the PT decided it didn't want to start at a 22 degree outside temp.

Which means I had to take Dennis the Smart Car - which meant I had to scrape the windows.

Yikes! :o Fortunately, it's going fo be a while before it gets that cold around here!

Maybe I have the settings wrong on my teevee, but I found it extremely off-putting that there were long scenes in French and Russian that were not subtitled. I kept thinking, "what's the point"?

It's too bad the costume department couldn't find any clothes for the two male leads to wear.       8)

We are enjoying a re-watch of the British sitcom To the Manor Born, from 1979. Penelope Keith is magnificent.

It is supposed to snow here continuously from 10:00pm tonight until 5:00pm tomorrow night, but the total predicted accumulation is only 4 inches.

DR John, would the job at Trader Joe’s interfer with potential substitute teaching jobs?

Don’t know yet.

Back to Stella. I think the actress reading Stella’s quotes isn’t very good.

In the same vein, there's some kind of budget problem at TRACKER where they can't afford to get the star Justin Hartley T-shirts that fit him.

So, I don't specifically follow MickeyJoTheatre on YouTube, but his review videos show up in my feed every once in a while.  Here's his (40 minute!) take on The Queen of Versailles:

He did not like it. ::)

Right near the beginning, he seems rather surprised and upset that they wouldn't give him press tickets.  I'm sure that didn't affect his opinion, but I can't help wondering if that was involved with the uncharacteristically nasty tone he had for the whole video.

Stella’s ending was sad. She had a form of dementia.

Starting The Painted Veil. The star is listed in the credits as Garbo, not Greta Garbo.
