I was supposed to be at school rehearsals an hour ago. BUT... they first delayed their opening three hours due to snow forecast, and now they've cancelled the entire day, which includes the concert tonight. So everything will be happening tomorrow which was the snow date.

I was part of the Wells Fargo garbage in which the bank just issued credit cards to bank customers without my having applied for it. I hate crap like that.

They had my mortgage and were decent about that. Why abuse it?

Direct deposit is the way to go.

I am horrified by the experience MR BK had.....I had a similar experience with a CASHIER'S CHECK that my bank refused to cash.

Of course the people who made the decision stayed in their offices and kept sending the lowly teller out to be the.....teller....of the bad news.

I finally just said - do you think I wrote this check myself? Do you think I'm trying to steal money? "Uh.....no.....uh."

I finally just took the check back and drove all the way over to the issuing bank and cashed the check there.

Well I went out to shovel 4" of snow off my sidewalk and driveway.

It was hard work. I was a bit more than halfway done. A car pulled up in front of the neighbro's house [I just made up a new word] and delivered his lunch.

She was getting back in her car and hollered over "You want me to finish that for you, honey?"

I said: "Thanks...but you're working."

She came over and said that's okay - I'll just go on pause for a few minutes.

She came over and finished the job in about six minutes. I gave her $6 which she didn't want to take but I made her. Then she gave me her phone number and said to call her if I needed anything else done. Her name is Sheila.

So that was a wonderful happenstance today on Fairlane Drive
